I absolutely LOVE peanut butter cookies…and I LOVE the 3-ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe for these cookies. And what could make these even better???? Blackberry Jelly!!! My friend Gina gave me some jelly she made with blackberries she grew. The weird thing is…I HATE blackberries. Not the taste, but the seeds- the good thing about the jelly is that it doesn’t have seeds.
Let me tell ya…the addition of the jelly to these cookies were DELICIOUS!!! If you like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches then you’re gonna love these cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the peanut butter, white sugar and egg. Mix until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 6 to 8 minutes.
Choose your favorite jelly and put a 1/2 teaspoonful in the center of the cookies before putting them in the oven. I put a teaspoonful which I found to be a little too much. But you can decide how much you want…
Voila!!! P B and J cookies… Yummo!
