Let’s Go Junkin’…

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve gone junkin’…too long!!  And what kind of a Junkin’ Chick would I be if I didn’t go Junkin’????  Wouldn’t make much sense now would it…

So this weekend my mom and I hit the thrift stores.  Come along with me as I take you to 2 of my favorite places to junk.

My first go-to thrift store for unique and frugally priced items is the Edna Howell Thrift Store. This store is fantastic!  The store was located in the church for years but now they are in their own building and it is truly great.

They also have a great selection of clothes but I forgot to take any pics…  {click on any of the pics to see a larger view}

This place has some great linens at great prices.

I got these pillow cases for only .25 each!!!  And they were in pristine condition.

The next place I love to shop is Habitat for Humanity.  You can find tons of new items along with gently used items.  The prices vary but I can always find a great deal on what I’m looking for.

Today they had tons of brand new lamp shades for 15.oo ea.

I loved the black and white ones

The variety at this store is AWESOME!  They have furniture, linens and books along with great vintage items.

And what makes this place even better are the old hardwood floors.

They creak when you walk on them and add a bit of nostalgia to your shopping experience.
