Lowe’s Creative Ideas…

Do you get the Lowe’s Creative Ideas Magazine they send out?  If not, you can subscribe here. And the best part is that it’s FREE!!  It always has the best decorating ideas for the holidays.  Look at this cute idea for fall- {all of the pics and directions are from Lowe’s website}

1. Cut 15 (2-foot) pieces of 3/4-inch-thick rope (#31166). Unravel 6 inches at each end of each piece.

2. Cut a 17-foot length of the rope, and tie on the unraveled pieces at 12-inch intervals with twine (#66510). Hang the garland around the door using wire nails.

And this one is SUPER cute!! And I always see these shades at Goodwill for a fraction of what you pay for at a retail store.

1. Draw a face on a frosted glass shade with a pencil. We chose bell-shaped glass shades (#39040*). Using a permanent marker, trace and fill in the face. It may take several coats to fully cover.

2. Apply black spray paint (#282318) to both sides of a 6-inch saucer (#94456). Allow to dry.

3. Place a small flameless candle (#166531) in the saucer, and cover with the glass shade.

I absolutely LOVE decorating for Fall…and the countdown is on!  Only 22 days til Fall!!  I can’t wait…
