Why I LOVE Coupons…

Well, today is the last day for Super Doubles at Harris Teeter and I can’t wait for them to come back.  After totaling my receipts for the past week here are my savings.

Total Before -  $576.54

Coupons Tendered (this includes VIC Savings)- $448.45

Total OOP- $128.09

What amazes me is how over-priced groceries are to start with and the savings you can get with coupons.  Especially when it’s Super Doubles at Harris Teeter!

For anyone not familiar with Super Doubles here’s a crash course-

During Super Doubles Harris Teeter will DOUBLE manufacturer coupons with a face value of up to $1.98. Which means $1 coupons will double to $2 off, $1.50 coupons will double to $3 off, etc, etc.  They have a limit of 20 coupons per day, per household.

I had a total of 25 bottles of juice with the grand total of  $5.70!!

These are just a few pics of my haul.  I didn’t include pics of my basement freezer or the refrigerated items I bought.  Overall, I would say it was a good week of Super Doubles!!!
