Over the weekend my brother gave me some beautiful bell peppers. With the price of bell peppers it pays to freeze them when you get your hands on a good amount. My favorite way to store them is to flash freeze them. Not familiar with that method? Here’s a tutorial for you-
First, obtain some beautiful, FREE bell peppers. Wash and dry them thoroughly.
De-seed, cut into small chunks and put on a cookie sheet. Pop them in the freezer for 1-1 1/2 hours so they freeze individually.
Once the pieces are frozen label freezer bags, put the frozen pieces into bags and pop back in the freezer.
Doing it this way will keep the bell peppers from being frozen into one solid block.
