Downtown Asheboro is a Junker’s dream…with a plethora of thrift and antique stores you could literally spend all day searching through 10,000 + sq feet of junk goodness and still not see everything! Flea Marketeers is just one of the many places I have visited over the years while visiting downtown Asheboro and it has never let me down on finding something unique to take home with me.
As soon as you arrive at the store you are met with a glorious array of old, antiquey and unique items displayed outside.
Each booth has something different and you’re bound to find something you just have to take home. I just love the candle holders and blue mason jars.
There are 3 floors to the Flea Marketeers…you will definitely get your cardio on while shopping here.
The 2nd floor was stocked with VHS tapes, records and cassettes. Does anyone own a VHS player anymore?
Now up to the 3rd floor…told you you’d get a workout shopping here.
This was just half of the 3rd floor.
It also had a mix of flea market and antique finds.
Downtown Asheboro is a very eclectic and wonderful place to visit. The people are very friendly and there are some very creative murals to enjoy like the one below that is located near the railroad tracks.
If you ever get a chance to visit Asheboro you must put downtown on your list of “must sees”. You will not be disappointed!
