What do you get when you combine the back of a chair, an old cork board, chair spindles and a napkin holder? In my opinion you get a beautiful, rustic and unique cork board. I love the way this turned out. If I can make something to use in my home instead of buying it pre-made I usually try and do it myself.
I love the way the napkin holder adds a touch of flair to the piece.
I roughed up the edges of the chair back to break up the black.
The spindle on the bottom gives the cork board a more finished look.
This would look awesome in a home office, kitchen or even in a pantry to pin notes, grocery lists and reminders.
I love how this doesn’t look like the cork boards you buy in the store. It can easily fit in with any decor and look more like a piece of art instead of a piece that goes into a dorm room…
