I’m sure we’ve all seen these large, outdated resin frames. I’ve encountered quite a few and found some with the mirror and some with out. I don’t care for them in their original state but I do love the ornate curves to them. Most people find them hideous so you can usually find them dirt cheap at yard sales and thrift stores. But with the power of a little spray paint, sparkles and an old coffee bean sack you can turn this once boring and hideous frame into one cute decor piece.
I sprayed this one bright pink then sprayed another coat of gold sparkles on top of that. I love the contrast the coffee bean sack gives the frame. That’s why I’m calling this my “Junktaposition” frame. My little play on the word “Juxtaposition”.
the fact of two things being seen or placed close together with contrasting effect.“the juxtaposition of these two images”
Yea, I know it’s not original by any means but it definitely suites this project.
The pictures didn’t totally capture all of the tiny sparkles embedded in the pink…but believe me; they’re there!
This would be so cute hanging on a wall in a kitchen nook, pantry or a “woman cave”. What do you think, would you put the color pink in your kitchen decor?
This will be for sale at Charmed Market in Germanton, NC very soon!
