If you’re a Southerner you were probably raised on cornbread and pintos. I know in my house as I was growing up my dad would fix pintos at least twice a month and his recipe for pintos are out-of-this-world good! They’re not your plain old pintos. These have tomatoes, garlic and onions cooked along with the beans themselves. My dad would sort and soak the beans overnight then drain the water, rinse the beans and use them in the recipe below.
I guarantee these are the best pinto beans you will ever put in your mouth!
