Anytime you use “Barn” and “Sale” in the same sentence…I’m all in! The Chartreuse Barn Sale is a monthly event held in Thomasville, NC that showcases some great vendors who have a great eye for “junk”. I attended the September barn sale and I was not disappointed. The people are friendly and they offer hot coffee and snacks for the customers! How great is that.
Everywhere I turned I found something awesome and unique. The layout is inviting and welcoming. The pictures below do not do this place justice, you need to visit the barn yourself to truly appreciate the beauty of this wonderful venue.

How beautiful is this upcycled light fixture. I could definitely see this in a rustic kitchen or entryway.
Each vendor has such a unique way of displaying their pieces. I love the lace curtains on the wall below. It makes for such a cute back drop.
Dough bowls can be such a great way to display flowers, books, ornaments or even pumpkins as the vendor below has done.
This was a very large dough bowl and made a very big statement as you passed by it.
I fell in LOVE with the huge Jack-o-lantern pictured below. The top of the pumpkin was mounted with hinges so you could easily lift it back to put some large candles inside of it.
And look at that “farmhouse” sign! How freaking cute is that?!?
When you exit the main barn there is another one to the right. As you walk into it there is hay on the floors to give it a very authentic barn feel. I could have moved into this place; it was so inviting!
You can see just how large the second barn is and this was only showing half of it. And look at those chandeliers, I wanted to take those home with me.
And outside was even more great “junk”. If you need windows to make some cool wall art or tables…this is the place to buy some.
I cannot wait for the October barn sale that will be held Thursday, October 6th – Saturday, Oct 8th. The weather will be nice and cool and while you’re at the sale, grab a cup of coffee and browse the wonderful “junk” curated by some creative vendors.
