Welcome to my Christmas, my Style… an open collaboration hosted by Catherine @ Amateur Decorating Like A Pro on YouTube.
My Christmas, My Style 2018
Cathryn is hosting four open collaborations for the month of November called “My Christmas, My Style 2018” and last week I showed you how I created my ornament garland for the first round of My Christmas, My Style and for the second round I chose to do another Christmas DIY that’s so simple yet oh so useful for the upcoming holidays.
diy Christmas card display
- clips, clothespins, etc.
- vase, bucket, bowl
I have designated a space in my sunroom where every one walks by to place my Christmas Card Display. This is right by the door that leads into my den so all of my guests can check out the cards our family receives throughout the season.
You will want to place some Styrofoam in your vase or container to give your branches a sturdy base to stand. The branches I used were from last Christmas that have tiny pine cones and ice all over them.
Once you have all of your branches securely placed in your container you will want to hide the Styrofoam by placing some ornaments on top. This will also give your display a bit more Christmas-y vibe to it.
You can use clothespins, clips, or even paperclips to attach your cards to the branches. My clothespins were from a DIY project last year that I spray painted gold.
