Here in North Carolina we had a snowstorm roll through. Around here that means making a bee line to the grocery store for bread and milk. My son Tre’ spent MLK Day giving a day of service to our local hospital where he regularly volunteers. He helped make treats for the patients and staff at the hospital along with others who gave their time. It was a great turn out and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. I am really proud that instead of sleeping in he chose to give some of his time to help make someone else feel special. And after his day of service his new glasses came in. He has never worn glasses before and on the ride home...
