I love old plates and they offer a great way to decorate a wall. I chose some random plates I had stored away and bought some plate hangers off Ebay. I didn’t go by a pattern, I didn’t measure I just hung them in a way that I thought looked pleasing to the eye…my eye!! So lets get started…
I bought 10 plate hangers in various sizes.

Since we were snowed in this weekend I decided to get started on a project that I should have done years ago. My husband was given his grandmother’s wardrobe when she passed. It’s very pretty but I thought I could do more with it. I spent Saturday sanding and priming it. As you can see by the photos I still need to paint and decide whether or not to put the doors back on. I love the tutorial at Living with Lindsay about painting laminate furniture. This helped so much!! If you click on the pics below you can see the scratches and nicks in the wood.
Some people prefer spray primer…for me it just depends on what project I’m working on. I do however love Zinsser primer.
Now that its been primed Zinsser recommends you wait 7 days for it to cure before you paint. Now to decide what color???
